Sorry but cannot name yourself “Australia’s greatest bakery with items like these”

I’m on a road trip around Australia and looking for the “best pie” but these don’t come close.

Croissants had no layering and was pale and over proved.

But unfortunately very below average on the taste.

I always order two pies of different flavour to test but the peppered steak was just mince with a lot of thick gravy and the chicken and leek had so much flour in the gravy, it held the contents in the pie like glue. Pastry tasted like vegetable sorting rather than butter

This is another example of of greater love of making a meal or something else in the oldest fashion I can remember of my great grandfather and grandmothers ways of making a cake or pies and biscuits or breads. What a lovely experience for me it is to stop there be it for lunch or coffee and a great snack. It's a fine food lover's dream place and I will always look forward to going back there
